We are delighted to welcome you and share information on how you can join our congregation.

The final step towards membership involves participating in a brief ceremony and signing the membership book. However, prior to reaching this point, we encourage you to find the path that is most comfortable and fitting for you.

Consider the following steps:

  1. Learn more about our congregation and Unitarian Universalism, particularly if you are new to this faith.
  2. Familiarize yourself with members, current congregation leaders, and ministers.
  3. Engage in congregation activities.
  4. Understand the commitment involved in becoming a member.

While you can explore these steps independently, especially if you are already familiar with Unitarian Universalism, our congregation also provides support through Newcomer Programs and Events.

Take the time to explore Unitarianism and our congregation before deciding on membership.

Meaning of Membership: Curious about the responsibilities that come with membership? As a member of our congregation, you have three key responsibilities:

  1. To yourself, in the pursuit of a personal spiritual journey.
  2. To others, by actively participating as a member of our shared community.
  3. To the institution, by committing to financial support through an annual pledge to sustain the ministry of the congregation.

Ceremony of Welcoming: We conduct several membership ceremonies throughout the year for those who have completed the Exploring UU workshop and wish to become members. When you feel ready to join, please reach out to Reverend Bill Neely via call or email to discuss your spiritual journey and the commitment ceremony.

Our heartfelt wishes and support accompany you on your spiritual journey!
